Blackstone Fortress and My New Toy

I picked up my copy of Blackstone Fortress this morning and my oh my isn't it just jam packed with fabulous new models.

For starters it looks like I'll be starting a Blood Pact army.

As for my new toy?

Courtesy of Tiger, an £8.00 photocopy with black or white foam inserts and a built in light powered from a USB cable....

...that I can plug into a laptop or my arm chair!

New Waaghh Blood Axe Units

I've indulged in a final burst of activity prior to going off gallivanting again.

They've already been seen but I've added some final touches to the Praetorian-inspired Blood Axe unit I've built for Kill Team.  I do need to add some slugga/ choppa boyz to make them more rounded and to represent Kommandos.

I finally ran out of time this morning so I've only part built the Squigbuggy, however I did manage time to green stuff some suitable Blood Axe headgear.

House Mortan Walks...Again...With Reinforcements.

Making the most of the poor weather I've finally painted up the extra two 'Trooper' Knights to add top the existing House forces.

The two new Knights. Now it's time to start applying the transfers to add some individuality to all of the Household.
