Primaris Reinforcements

I managed to arrange some building time yesterday. 

Ready to join the Silver Templars are the latest couple of weeks of Primaris releases. 

The Chaplain builds up a chunky, mean looking mo' fo'. 

The new Techmarine has just overseen the set up of the new Hammerfall bunker whilst his counterpart provides overwatch with the new gun platform

 The sun has just come out so it's time to fire up the spray paints.

More Praetorians....But What Colour Scheme This Time?

As if I really needed it, I've managed to scrape together ANOTHER Platoon.

So farm there's only 45 men in this one but with some rejigging and potentially adding lascannons to my Armoured Fist Platoon I should be able to add another 10 models.

Unfortunately the last batch I found on eBay had a lot of the 'running with raised lasgun 'model so I may have to add some retrospectively to older squads to keep some variety in this new Platoon. 

But what colour scheme?

I'm undecided at the moment but I have two Osprey books, the British Army On Campaign 3 & 4, arriving soon.  I'm sure they will provide some inspiration.

What's New On The To Do......List?

First up is the delivery from the Archon Games Kickstarter I pledged on back in January.

I went in for just one set for $49 and look at what I ended up with.

One Eternal Cathedral plus stretch goals, a Starcide sampler and the Wolverine tank.

New up for Primaris Marines are the Chaplain and the Firestrike turret.

 I love the chunky look of the Chaplain.

These aren't the only goodies though.  I've been buying Praetorians again plus the Wargames Atlantuc Einherjar and Spiders should be turning up soon.

 Fresh back from another period of nautical hijinks and what stares out at me from a Flashpoint:Argovon article in White Dwarf 457?

Only the mention of four armoured Regiments of Praetorian Hussars being involved in the campaign.

Still being mentioned.  There must be models on the way....
