Ripple Painting

With another planned photo shoot in the offing, I upped the game for getting the Les Grognards painted.

In this particular case, I began painting the 30 models in batches of five.

To start, I painted the inner greatcoat lining of 10 models with the Dawnstone paint. I then went to the first five of those to apply Khorne Red to the outer Greatcoat before completing another 5 inner linings.

From there on, it was back to the beginning for Balthasar Gold for five, Khorne Red for five and so on.
I find it stops a long painting session from becoming boring.  There's nothing worse than doing twenty pairs of trousers, then twenty jackets and so on.
