Success!
I found a window in the weather and was able to Grey Seer undercoat Mortarion.
The photos show the work I've been able to achieve since this morning, courtesy of the Contrast paints that will be used on the bulk of the model.
The paints used are:
Armour - Plaguebearer Flesh
Upper Robes - Shyish Purple
Lower Robes - Gryph-Charger Grey
Smokes and Fumes - Apothecary White
Wing Spines and Weapons - Black Templar
Wings - Skeleton Horde
Spines and Growths - Aggaros Dunes
Rocks - Administratum Grey
Armour detailing and censers are Balthasar Gold with Agrax Earthshade.
The Reaper is Leadbelcher with Agrax Earthshade.
