Well, What A Couple Of Weeks...

...that was.

The Employers having been demanding some payback for their money.  As a result, following close to two weeks of being at the rush. progress has been slow.

I have had enough time to add some extra touches to the Primaris characters and that has been nearly it.

More later.

Ice Cream and Ponies!

A fine day with coastal paths and tasty ice cream treats...

...following completion of the latest gang of Rough Riders.

Primaris Character Update

Another day of dog walking and duck feeding complete and it's back to the painting.

This time, it's extra touches to the two Apothecaries and making a start on the Chaplain.

Now, I will be receiving a second Chaplain once the new Conquest delivery arrives so, like the Apothecaries, I'm considering variant paint schemes.

I may go for some Macragge Blue robes on this one and paint the second with blue armour and black robes. I'll have to see how that goes....

Lovely Weather, A Nice Walk and Completed Ventrillians.

Man shall not live by painting progress alone.

There will always be time for a nice cream tea....

...and a sausage for the faithful but extremely wilful hound.

Notwithstanding family time, one Command Squad and two Infantry Squads for a side Imperial Guard project are now complete.

I've enjoyed putting these together as something different from the Praetorians but what next?

I may have to look at the Munitorum vehicle pool and see if I can cobble together three Chimeras to make these a mechanised platoon.

Ventrillian Noble Progress

Maybe it's because of the extra light in the evenings but I always seem to find time for painting as the weather gets better.

With time running out however, I needed to crack on with the little Guard side project.

The Rough Riders are primed and most of the basic painting has been done on the Command Squad and Infantry Squad troopers.

Additionally, after receiving the Celestra Grey paint with the latest Conquest delivery, I have redone the original squads trousers in this colour rather than the drybrushed white over Codex Grey that they were initially painted in.

More to look forward to tonight.
