Tunneller Progress. Now Just Waiting On Mantic To Deliver

I'm not exactly powering through the next 30 but, having been stuck away from home over the weekend I have managed to get boots, flesh, helmets and weapons painted up.

Shameless Kickstarter Plug!!!

Please look into this.

I really want some fancy Machine Gun Steam Horses.

If this one happens, I'll be walking like a proud gorilla!

It's IMPERIAL GUARD not Astra Militarum...to this old Luddite anyway.

I've finally got around to resetting my working week  paint station and will, over the next couple of weeks be adding to my IG army.  Personally I don't class the models as in the army until they are painted.

As previously featured, I have the Rausenberg Seige Corps and Praetorian Highlanders squads to paint up.  I'm still patiently waiting for the Reaper Bones Sledgehammers to turn up.

Also on a behind schedule Kickstarter are the Mantic Tunnelers that will provide transport for the alternate scheme Praetorian platoon shown below.

Additionally, there are another three squads base sprayed to make a full 55 strong platoon of Tunnelers.

I still have the finishing touches to add to the full platoon waiting to join the Redcoat ranks.

Last but not least is the Plasma Obliterator.  I was lucky enough to find one of these courtesy of Wicor Models in Portchester, a lovely, friendly model shop that should be on the rounds of anyone in the Pompey area.

The Wolf's Howl - Sledgehammer Alternative Barrel

I'm still waiting for the arrival of my BFG Sledgehammer battery but, in anticipation of its release, Victoria's Miniatures have published a preview photo of an alternative barrel known as the Wolf's Howl.

Also due are a set of tracks to replace the wheels.

No Painting Managed...

Coming to the end of the holiday period and I realised that at no stage did I manage to get a paint brush in my hand.  I was just having to good a time.

That said, I did manage to get some building and spray undercoating done.

The ladies of Victoria Miniatures' Rausenburg Siege Corps have been put together.  Now I am not nimble fingered and the size of the midular parts along with superglue did get interesting at times!

I even caught up with the Vic Minis backlog and put together the Highlanders that have been waiting since last January.

The Calth plastic Contemptor.

The new Forge World Apothecary.

Canoness Verydyan.  I'm looking forward to the new Celestine model.

The Prospero box Sisters of Silence have also been put together.

It's back to work tomorrow so there will be plenty of opportunity to get some painting done on the evenings I'm away from home.

There may even be the chance of doing a new Praetorian muster after I picked up a 6 x 4 battlemat. They won't all fit on out expanding dining room table anymore.
