New Primaris Complete

As mentioned in an earlier post, it is slightly quicker when the base colour is Leadbelcher but that's the Indomitus Primaris Marines complete. 

 

I'm running out of home time and will soon be off for another seven weeks but there should be enough time to prep some projects ready for my return. 

New Platoon Complete

One benefit of time off is the satisfaction of being able to see a job to completion, even when you only just decided to try and fit said job in to the schedule.

To that end, another 30 Guardsmen are complete and ready to join the Praetorian Massive.

It is a bit of a shame but this is likely to be the last full Platoon added to the army.  The opportunity to pick up models is dropping away with the main channel, eBay, seeing ridiculous £12.00 Buy It Now prices being charged.

Good luck to those sellers but you will not be making money off me.

 

Then Work Got In The Way

It was a productive holiday period though. 

Progress was made on the new Praetorians as well as the Indomitus Primaris. 

 Unfortunately progress has stalled on my first weekend back home due to the joy of trying to pass a small kidney stone. That was fun..... 

Oh OK Then. Praetorians!

It's time for a dabble in my true passion.

 The three squads above are being prepped ready to join those that are already painted up in a scheme inspired by the Sudan Campaign's Camel Corps.

The example is shown below. Time to break out the Adminstratum Grey and Karak Stone

 

The Complete Ventrillian Nobles Platoon

Work has been in the way the last two days. 

For display though, the latest finished Imperial Guard project. 

I now have a 55 strong Platoon, Mortar Heavy Weapon Squad and five Rough Rider scouts to add to the IG horde. 

 

Although complete, there is some future tinkering to do to swap backpacks and add some vox casters to a couple of squads.
