Adepta Sororitas - Something Old, Something New and Something Third Party

I covered the new range yesterday so today is the full collection including metals Sisters of Yesteryear and the Anvil Industry Gothic Armoured Nuns I obtained from a Kickstarter.  These are now available at retail.

I had a fair few Sisters from the original 97 release but, as with most wargamers, they were found new homes to make space for new Shiny.

The Canoness below was from the Witchunters Codex era.

The Banner Bearer with sticker banner is from the original release.  She still has the jump pack that could be given to Hero models back then.

The original Ephrael Stern model from a Black Library diorama.  I must paint up Silas Hand one day.
I used to use her as a jump pack equipped Palatine, a Sororitas Lieutenant as it were.

The original Seraphim models with the exception of the second squads Superior who is from the Witchunters era.

A second generation plastic Immolator along with a second unpainted Immolator and Exorcist.

Enough metal add ons to turn a wargames model into an excellent roadblock.

Now, the Anvil Sisters that are a more than acceptable proxy for GW's  models.

First of all, the Archangel.  A resin four winged Celestine if you will.

Flying nuns.  I went for the mechanical version of the wings but Anvil sell a feathered variety as well.

Imagifier and Canoness proxies.

A squad armed with two 'meltaguns'.

A Retributor proxy squad with two Heavy Bolters.

The same but with two Heavy Flamer type weapons.

If you like the look of the above, access https://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/burning-rose

Sold in squads of five, starting from £16.00 for a basic squad, £25.00 for a Retributor style squad and £29.00 for Seraphim types, these are a worthy alternative if you're not planning on playing in a GW store.
