Please please please tell us about all the constituent parts, won't you?

  2. Absolutely awesome! I've snagged a box of these but I don't think they'll have the Praetorian flavour.

  3. Thanks for the comments. The heads of course are from the fab Vic Lamb Miniatures. I do now have a second box coming from Kirton Games.

I would advise people to possibly wait until the IG Codex is actually in their hands before deciding to buy the Scion box. The cost of the box for just five IG models is approaching my price point, then again I do spend nearly US$50 for a squad of Vic's models so what do I know?

    1. The cost nearly put me off, but with the discounts floating around I couldn't resist. And this is probably why I can never finish any projects!

  4. I think the guy with the sword suits the head, but the rest kinda look off. Im sure when they are painted this might not be the case. Mine havent arrived yet but I toyed with the idea of giving them pith helmets to match my men too. But im still not sure yet.

    Thanks for sharing,

Vic minis is cheaper (last I checked) than GW models here in my country. So I find it very easy to buy my army from there.

    Keep it up.

    1. It's a fair comment. The heads are not the best fit due to the rear rim of the pith helmet.

Col Gravis (Curious Constructs fame) is considering making Life Guard helmets to go with the Scions so I may hold off painting these up until I get to see those goodies. Its not as if I don't have enough to be getting on with in the meantime.

    2. Fair enough. I havent taken the plunge and used curious constructs yet, but I may give it a look.

I look forward to seeing the final result of these guys those.

      Cheers man.

    3. Jayden, the Curious Constructs pieces go superbly with Vic's. Its a whole pool of coolness that is just waiting for you to tap into. Pretty quick shipping to our side of the world too.

  5. Ha! New toys! That's certainly an interesting look Ady. I can't wait to see that Gravis has in mind.
